Giveaway? Throwaway?

How to Keep Your Giveaway from Being a Throwaway

“It’s a slow trip to the trash can, the slower the trip—the better.” That’s what one of my Journalism professors told me about producing a newsletter, magazine or brochure.  The slower the trip meant that they saved it long enough to read it.  I learned to accept that...

Tariffs – How to minimize Promo implications!

Running a business requires ongoing diligence in controlling costs wherever possible. While you may pride yourself in managing risks, external forces beyond your control, like tariffs, can add unplanned expenditures and affect your bottom line. External forces can...

Planting the Seed for More Sales

As I look back over my marketing career, one of the most successful campaigns I ever managed was when we asked farmers if we could give them a hand…a glove actually. The direct mail program was designed to get Roundup Ready® corn on farms where we didn’t sell any seed...

Corporate Gifts, personalize them for maximum effect!

Corporate gifts come straight from upper management and carry special weight unlike other gifts. Any business knows who they are – those MVC’s (most valuable customers).  They may be the company’s largest client.  Or, they may be the oldest, most loyal ones. Perhaps...

Creative ideas for dealing with leftover promotional giveaways

Promotional products can sometimes pile up in storage.  That's because ordering those products can involve an educated guess when the order is placed. There’s usually some uncertainty about how many promo products will be needed for that big upcoming event. Situations...

Why it’s WISE to Include Worrell and your sales team in marketing budget discussions

Worrell corporation works with marketing departments daily. As these companies budget marketing expenses, we’ve found it to be a real benefit to include their sales force in the process. Your sales force knows your market better than anyone else. In any company, it’s...

Employee Appreciation – your most valuable investment!

Showing employee appreciation is critical to a business’s long term success. What business doesn’t want to retain great employees?  They are the lifeblood of the company, representing a key to long term success. It’s important for a company to continually show its...

The Future of Marketing – The Inevitable Decline of Traditional Marketing

According to a report called "Millennial B2B Buyers Come Of Age" by Mary Shea, millennial's are 73 percent involved in all B2B purchasing decisions. This statistic should be a big wake-up call to all legacy B2B organizations. Unfortunately, older generations like to...

Using the lowly water bottle to promote your brand – Worrell offers a new approach!

Water is getting to be expensive! And, you sometimes wonder why that is? This may come as a shock, but did you know that about 45% of the world’s bottled water actually comes from municipal water supply systems? That’s probably better known as “tap water. The funny...

COMPUTER-GENERATED DECORATION SITES

– using them for promo products is risky. Companies like Amazon and Vistaprint have become successful at promoting services online. This once was the domain of customized, local providers.  With targeted marketing available through social media, these companies can...

When measuring the value of promotional products, calculate the ROI = Return on Impression!

The single, most-common question business owners consider before buying promotional products is this -“Is it worth the investment?” Business marketing departments, sales departments and human resources want to know if prospects and potential new hires are going to...

One GREAT reason you want to buy your company uniforms directly from Worrell instead of leasing or renting them from a uniform company.

Renting or Leasing your company uniforms sounds great -  but there ARE disadvantages. For many business owners, the benefits of providing uniforms for their employees makes sense. They see providing company apparel as a way to create a consistent look.  They also want...

T-H-E nagging dilemma facing 33% of Small Business Owners – “How to effectively market to new customers?”

It’s one of the major challenges revealed in a recent survey According to a survey by a large retailer, 86% of small business owners were optimistic for the future.  They also thought their business would thrive in the coming year. However, the survey also revealed...

The psychology at work when you use promotional products

I occasionally read Psychology Today, the magazine of contributing psychologists, academics, psychiatrists and writers who share their thoughts on what makes us tick.  I recently read an article entitled The Art of Giving and Receiving. While the focus of the article...

People talk about us…

We would love to hear what you have to say!

“I and others sorted out the Northface jackets we ordered through you yesterday and I just wanted to send you a quick note.  I’m sure you often get notes when things go wrong but wanted to send this:  those are the nicest garments we have ever ordered, period.  But, what differentiates your company:  they arrived with cartons in perfect shape and the boxes were even clean.  We’ve had others arrive in the past where the cartons were filthy.  Not yours.  Neatly shrink wrapped on pallets. And, never before have we had items arrive that were individually packed neatly inside the boxes and each box was sorted by size and labeled the same.  With other orders and other vendors we have had sizes mixed in boxes which makes the sorting and distribution process much more difficult. So, Jim, great job and well done.  Your customer focus and customer-first approach are appreciated.  Hope you have a great holiday.  We will continue to think of you and your Company for future orders.”

We have ordered several items from Worrell Corp but most recently 500 water bottles with infusers as an employee promotion. They turned out great and employees loved them! High quality, clear logos printed on them and arrived on time. Thank you so much to Angie and her team for helping us out with these. We plan to order more soon!
